The Democratic Club of Southern Sonoma County invites you to join us for great community networking, informative presentations, wonderful speakers, lots of opportunity to meet with candidates and elected officials, political action and fun.  Our club now covers two Congressional Districts.  Thus meetings may alternate between Petaluma and the Cotati/Rohnert Park area.   So stay tuned as we gear up for the 2012 election season and call for further details.



Normally we meet every third Wednesday in Petaluma but in January 2012 we will have a special meeting instead on Tuesday the 10th in Cotati with special guests Congressman Mike Thompson and Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey to introduce him.  See following notice:

Happy New Year club members and friends.  2012 will be interesting and exciting with the challenging
campaign season ahead and the many changes in our districts.  We will be living in a new Congressional
District and thus want to welcome Congressman Mike Thompson to Cotati to update us on what’s happening
up on Capitol Hill and give him an opportunity to hear from us our questions and concerns.  We are doubly
honored in that we will also have our very own Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey to introduce Rep. Thompson
and to present a special Congressional Record to our dear friends Bob and Barbara Abramson.  
Deli-Style Potluck – thus assorted sandwiches, appetizers, crackers and cheese, fruit, veggies/crudités, dip,
chips, snacks, cookies, sweets and beverages – sorry no alcohol this time.  If anyone can help with set-up or food,

*Please note – Because of redistricting and speakers schedules – we will be alternating meetings between
Petaluma and Rohnert Park – and in January 2012 – no usual third Wednesday!  The above meeting on Tuesday
the 10th will replace our monthly meeting.  Febuary 15th we will resume the third Wednesday for our first
Congressional Candidates Forum at the Boys and Girls Club of Petaluma – so stay tuned!
