This month, we are very honored and delighted to have our esteemed Democratic Candidates for Congress make their presentation to our club, the city of Petaluma and surrounding communities.  This forum will be in lieu of our regular monthly meeting and will be held at the Boys and Girls Club Games Room, 203 Maria Drive, Petaluma.  Doors open at 6:30 PM - an opportunity to meet and greet, get some snacks and refreshments; and find a seat.  The forum will officially begin at 7 PM with welcome and introductions by Petaluma Mayor David Glass; and will be moderated by Bruce Robinson, KRCB News Director.

Each candidate will make a brief presentation.  After everyone has spoken, we will have a formal Q & A session with questions for all candidates submitted to and asked by moderator.  Topics should include specific issues i.e. environment, jobs, education, foreign policy, health care etc...

A minimal donation of $5 is suggested to help defray our costs i.e. room fees, chairs, etc.  Also any help with set up, snacks, sweets or refreshments, would be greatly appreciated.

Any campaign literature: please make a special request ahead of time so we can be sure everyone has equal opportunity to display their information.

Parking - limited space in parking lot due to other activities but should be plenty of spaces along street or across at school.  We encourage carpooling as much as possible.

For more details, and to RSVP, call Therese Horsting, President, Democratic Club of Southern Sonoma County at 707-664-1687 or e-mail raventh9©gmail.com -- subject line Feb 15th Candidates Forum.

Special thanks to our co-sponsors especially the Sonoma County Democratic Party for their help providing event insurance.  And --Thank you to Joey Brisson, Branch Director and Boys and Girls Club for letting us use their facilities.  So let the games begin!
